Recently this blog posted "
Kate Gosselin Being Considered as Palin's Running Mate." There, we provided photo evidence of Kate Gosselin meeting with Sarah Palin and a rationale for putting Gosselin on the 2012 ticket as Sarah Palin's running mate. Just four days later the idea appeared in
MetroWNY!
Although the rationale is different -- MetroWNY assumes Gosselin would be the primary beneficiary of a Palin-Gosselin ticket, while we assumed Palin would be -- that MetroWNY is carrying the story must prove that it is true! Right?
But, of course, we're not claiming that MetroWNY got the idea from us. That would be a
post hoc ergo propter hoc logical fallacy on our part. But how else could they have come by such a cockamamie idea?
Sarah Palin doesn't believe in coincidences, right? Neither should you!

Isn't cum hoc ergo propter hoc relevant, too, to speculation about Sarah Palin?
Amusing! Yet, scary enough to know there would be some stupid people who would vote for them.
Curiously, the article is right neck-to-head with an ad for a plastic surgeon. Just think where that duo could go!
The really hairy part is that the idea is no more ludicrous than some of hers have been.
If you can't beat them, join them. YOU KNOW EXACTLY WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT!
Kate in is Alaska so Sarah can vet her... and the standards are low.
Anonymous 1:00, Me? I will never join Sarah's fans.

Anonymous 3:31, Sarah is going to baptize Kate's kids next week!
