This is believed to be the world's oldest leather shoe. It is about 5500 years old and was made of tanned cowhide.A newspaper article about the shoe states, "It could have fit a small man or teenager, but was likely worn by a woman with roughly size-7 feet. (That, according to www.celebrityshoesize.com, would be slightly roomy for Sarah Jessica Parker, whose Manolo Blahniks are size 6.5, and a tad tight for Sarah Palin, who, during the 2008 campaign, sported red “Double Dare” pumps by Naughty Monkey, size 7.5)."

Hello ... testing ..
Here is the link to the article's writer. Why do you suppose Sarah Palin's shoe size was used to provide some reference to the size of the old shoe? Why were two Sarahs named?
Who cares about her shoe size? Check this out.
Anonymous, it would be helpful if you would log in or type something into the Name/Url box. It's interesting to know that someone is uninterested in her feet but interested in ... whatever. You can put "joe25" into the name/url box and as long as you use the same name everyone will know that it is you commenting, assuming that nobody impersonates you (to guard against that, you should log in - openid, blogger, others?).
I thought this was more like her IQ.
:)
U'mmm. I think some of the commentators are maybe not quite "getting the drift."
The shoes are relatively 5,500 years old. Sarah P believes the world is only 6,000 years old and had both humans and dinosaurs resident (cows probably wouldn't last that long with T-rex's around...)
